Review by hotel critic
My recent stay at the Toiras was a delightful experience, where culinary innovation met inviting ambiance. Nestled by the harbor, the hotel offers stunning views, elevating every moment spent there. The room was thoughtfully designed, providing comfort after a day of exploration. I particularly appreciated the Calacatta marble counter at the Blue Note Bar, a perfect spot to unwind with a glass of wine while enjoying gentle ocean breezes. Dining at George's was a highlight of my visit. While I didn't indulge in breakfast, I found their dinner offerings appealing, though the wine list could benefit from broader selections. The chef was genuinely engaging, which added a personal touch to the evening. Maxence and Stanislav provided commendable service, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout the stay. Though the prices for breakfast may seem steep at 35 euros for a continental option, the quality and sustainability practices employed by the hotel balance this. The Toiras is an esteemed address for those seeking a gastronomic retreat, making it a hidden gem for food enthusiasts like myself.
